Frequently Asked Questions

Q. How do I clean my Corian piece?

A. Corian is a non-porous material, so if it has a stain it is only on the surface. Use Soft Scrub or Clorox Clean-up cleanser to take out the stain. Use soap and water or it can be put in the dishwasher.

Q. Will the Corian scratch?

A. Yes, the surface can scratch, however, it can be sanded and look like new again. The color is solid all the way through it, so you will never loose the color. To take out scratches use water, Soft Scub cleanser, and a Scotch-Brite pad.

Q. Will it damage my knives?

A. No

Q. How will it withstand hot or cold temperatures?

 A. It can withstand temperatures up to 400 degrees, so a hot casserole out of the oven can be set on the board and not hurt it! It withstands the cold temperature in the refrigerator and stays cold for quite a while!
